1- Paste torn of papers (books, napkins, musical sheets, newspapers….), paste it using white glue.
2- Give it a coat of white gesso, I do not have gesso so I used white acrylic instead.
3- Paste some papers again (books, napkins, musical sheets, newspapers….),I think the first steps no need of them at all, since I applied the new layer below.
4- Add some colors upon for the sky and ground; add with spong to get a light layer of paint.
Apply some stencil effect (dots & harelquin designs)
5- I draw paisley designs on deli paper.
I pasted, then give it a light white coat paint or gesso.
6- I started paint the houses of the village.
7- Add some patterns.
8- Add small details with pens, wax crayons, and color pencils.
You can give texture for the clouds by adding texturing paste, I used white acrylic then after it dried I line it with blue wax crayon.
It is a piece of art ;)
